Gentleman Society Sport
A new chapter in Givenchy’s Gentleman Society line, launched in 2026 and composed by perfumer Karine Dubreuil. Where the original Gentleman Society is warm and woody, Sport turns the volume toward freshness — without losing the creamy, woody spine underneath.
The composition
- Top: Clary Sage Essence, Sicilian Lemon Tree Petitgrain Essence
- Heart: French Wild Daffodil, Iris Concrete, Vetiver Quartet
- Base: Cedarwood Essence, Patchouli Essence, Ambery Woods, Blooming Musk
Givenchy describes it as “the powerful combination of Daffodil and Vetiver, enhanced by the crisp freshness of a citrus quartet and icy woods.” The result is a woody aromatic that reads green and citrus-bright up top, then settles into something smooth, ambery and quietly musky.
Why it works for island life
Sri Lanka doesn’t do “fresh” halfway. Heat and humidity flatten heavy fragrances fast, which is exactly the gap a sport flanker fills — the citrus and icy-woods opening is built for a humid afternoon, while the cedarwood, patchouli and ambery base keeps it from turning thin by evening. Think a Colombo workday that runs straight into dinner, or a weekend down south where you’re in and out of the sea air.
How to wear it
Two to three sprays on pulse points is plenty for daytime; add one to the chest for evenings out. It layers cleanly with an unscented moisturiser, which also helps any fragrance hold longer in humid conditions.
Choose your size
- 60 ml — the easy way in, and the one to travel with
- 100 ml — the better value per millilitre, and the smarter buy if you’ve found your signature
New to the line, or adding to it? Gentleman Society Sport sits alongside the original Gentleman Society and Gentleman Society Ambrée — a trio worth sampling side by side.
