The original forbidden flower
In 1957 Hubert de Givenchy made a fragrance for Audrey Hepburn alone. When he asked to sell it, she answered: “Je vous l’Interdis.” L’Interdit has been defying that instruction ever since — and your own L’Interdit page has been telling that story since 2020, so this bottle slots straight into it.
How it smells
A luminous white flower bouquet — jasmine, tuberose, orange blossom — cut with dark notes. Patchouli and vetiver sit underneath, earthy and slightly bitter, giving the flowers their edge. Elegant on the surface, a little dangerous underneath.
How to wear it in Sri Lanka
Warm, humid air amplifies white florals, so this one rewards a light hand. Two mists on pulse points in the morning will carry you through a Colombo workday; build to three for an evening out. In the heat, apply to moisturised skin — it holds the trail far longer than dry skin does. Keep it off your wrists if you’re wearing it to the Galle Face sunset and you’ll still smell it at dinner.
Why the limited bottle matters
The 50ml limited edition is the collector’s format — the same juice, a bottle that won’t be repeated next season. It is also, for now, priced below your standard 50ml.
